Building Your Mind + Body + Soul

The Elkins/Randolph County YMCA

Nov 17, 2017

Do you ever wonder: What does the future hold for our community?

The good news is that new businesses have been opening, and established ones expanding. Volunteers are working hard to make the city attractive and appealing to residents and tourists. Business owners are planning improvements to our riverfront and the revitalization of some of our historic buildings.

But, as you know, it’s not all good news. Residents are concerned about issues facing our community. West Virginia is number one in the nation—for obesity and diabetes. Addiction and overdoses are tearing apart so many families, sometimes right down the street from us. Parents are concerned about whether our kids are getting enough of the opportunities they need to make their way in life.

So, what can we do to support and create more good news about our community?

There is a simple, powerful step you can take to help make sure your friends and neighbors have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive: Make a tax-deductible donation of any amount to the Elkins-Randolph County YMCA

You probably already know that the Elkins-Randolph County YMCA is more than just a good place to work out. We want to make sure you know something else:  At the Y, strengthening community is our cause.

And we can’t do it without you

When you give to the Y, you are taking action to make this community stronger. And you can be sure that the Y, as a leading nonprofit for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, will use your gift to make meaningful, enduring impacts right here at home.
