THE ELKINS Y PROVIDES MEALS TO CHILDREN DURING THE SUMMER

The Elkins-Randolph County YMCA announces its sponsorship of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program.

Lunch and an afternoon snack will be available to all children, ages 18 years and under, who would like to participate.  Meals will be served at the YMCA at 400 Davis Avenue in Elkins.

Lunch will be provided Monday through Friday at 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm starting June 13th and ending on August 5th. The program will not run on the following days:

  • Monday, July 4th
  • Wednesday, July 6th
  • Wednesday, July 13th

A nutritious meal is important for children to learn, play and remain active during the summer months. Remember, hunger doesn’t take a summer vacation!
