Competitive + Fun
Get in the game with youth leagues, competitive swim, and adult court sports at the Elkins YMCA. Whether you’re looking to build skills, enjoy friendly competition, or be part of a team, our programs offer something for every age and ability level.
Youth Basketball
Teach your kids the value of teamwork through confidence-building team sports. The Y offers two age groups for youth basketball teams:
Mighty Mites Basketball
A fun and beginner-friendly league focused on skill-building, teamwork, and learning the rules of the game.
- Grades: K–3
- Season: October–December
Jerry West Basketball League
A supportive, competitive youth league that builds on basketball fundamentals and good sportsmanship.
- Grades: 4–8
- Season: December–February
RAYS Competitive Swim Team
Train and compete with the RAYS, our youth swim team. Swimmers practice together and compete across the region.
- Ages: 9–18
- Season: September–February
Adult & Teen Co-Ed Leagues
Coed Volleyball League
Join a seasonal volleyball league with tournament play. No experience required—just teamwork and fun.
- Ages: 15+
- Seasons: Fall & Spring
Coed Wallyball League
Fast-paced, team-based play inside a racquetball court. A unique and exciting alternative to traditional volleyball.
- Ages: 15+
- Season: January–March
